Ok, I love the Who and I'm a big classic rock fan. But I was dissappointed in that show.. Roger Daltrey's voice is pretty much gone and Pete Townshend was too old to do all the crazy things he used to.

If he has smashed his guitar at the end, the show would've been saved.. and my drunken friends would've gone crazy.

Does anyone else think it may finally be time to forget about that Jackson-Timberlake fiasco and finally give contemporary musicians a shot again?

I have to admit I didn't watch the half-time show. I walked out as soon as half time started and I got back at the very end of their performance. For me the half-time show isn't a big deal, I'm there to watch the game more than I am the half-time show.

I watched maybe a minute of it - the SB halftime shows have been terrible for a long time now.

I'm not one to watch halftime shows either... it is the time I use to get the kids ready and into bed. But yes, it is long since time to put that incident in the past and get some more modern musicians up there. They are going to lose the younger crowd if they keep this up.
