The question is, are the Raiders (Al Davis) willing to gamble on him. He has the size and the arm to be a real good QB. His mobility is a question mark, but with a solid o-line to give him time to work, that can be overcomed. I think the Raiders are going to have to make a tough decision from here till April on whether to go with Walter as the QB of the future, or pick up a QB in the draft or via FA. agreed, they must shore up that o-line to have a chance, the defense is there but the offense must give them a lead to protect. as much as i hate to think it the Raiders will be back very sooner, the Chiefs are never gonna be able to stop anybody and the Broncos are stuck in neutral. depending on what Oakland decides to do with this pick it might very well end up impacting the AFC West for years to come. i still know 3 things though:
1. they will be 2-3 wins better than this year
2. o-line MUST improve for them to contend for a playoff berth
3. as good as the defense is they still cant stop LT
