OK lets try this one. I know many people dislike John Madden. So how many of you think he belongs in the hall of fame or not and why?

I don't really care for his announcing skills or lack there of but think he deserves the HOF honor. After all he's in there for what he did as a coach not for what he hasn't done for commontating. JMO

i think he belongs in the HOF because John Madden is the biggest announcer in football he is madden videogames that are a huge sucsess and he was a great coach so yea he deserves it

Absolutly he belongs in the HOF, he is one of the best coaches of all time.

Look at what he did as a coach, thats enough alone. His anouncing is annoying as hell though.

John maddens coaching career was extraordinary but his announcing career makes me wanna put 6 holes in head. So i say no, because hes annoying as hell, and if he does he will never shut up about it.

Superstar, this is more of what I expected from this thread. I am kind of pleasantly suprised so far though.

Dude who cares if he is annoying his carrer coaching was great with the raiders. Yea i agree his voice is annoying but still give him credit for winning a SB with the raiders
