Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin has not been pleased with the play of WR Mike Williams, particularly after Williams dropped multiple passes in Week 3. "The word `pleased' isn't anywhere near Mike Williams right now," Kiffin said. "And I'm sure Mike would be the first to tell you. Mike did not play well at all. He's in a position to make plays, but that doesn't do you any good to be in a position if you don't make them. So he's going to need to step it up."
Well, Travis Taylor was cut, and he was a former 1st-round pick. Yeah, Mike Williams hasn't lived up to expectations, but he's the only veteran receiver we have now. Cutting him would be bad.
Yeah im not happy either but he still has to go through growing pains. He is trying to hard when he needs to relax and let the plays come to him instead of trying to make the big plays. They will come, he is always in good position. to bad he doesnt have a mentor in Oakland. They Should pick up a veteran receiver who can help these guys out.
