Why should I address it when they were ranked #6 in the NFL?

There are no facts like this to support YOUR argument but there are with mine.This is real evidence. Teams will poor O lines dont rankl like that.

The addition of Wade and Harris is but yet another upgrade.

teams that get 3/4 of their team rushing yards against the worst rushing defenses in the league are not really that good rushing teams. more about luck of the draw. Denver's defense won't be as bad and you can be sure the Raiders won't be 6th in the league again

are you really that slow? now the Chargers send only 1 LB when they blitz? how when they constantly send Phillips and Merriman after the QB, lets see thats 3 defensive lineman and 2 linebackers going after the QB and since you clearly defined what a blitz should be doesnt that sound like a blitz to you according to your definition? the Professor already showed you why your Raider team ran the ball so well and you have yet to respond yet you keep asking me to give you a reason why i think they arent a good rushing team and clearly its been provided already. you keeping running around it like most Raider fans usually do. atleast Daddy Primetime has seen the light. in case you didnt read the Professors post it gives you stats about how the Raiders run the ball well against the worst run ds and struggle against the better half. why havent you answered him? its been almost a week and you keep changing the subject.

please tell me why im am all over this board? is it because im the mod of the Raiders forum? one pretty good reason why you should address the Profs breakdown of Oaklands rushing stats is because its true. numbers tell the story, pad the stats against the weaker run Ds, suck against the best.

The word blitz stems from the German word Blitzkreig meaning "to overwhelm"

In a 4-3, the term implies that you rush a back seven defender and rush 4 linemen. Since 4-3 defenses require one DT to "two gap" at the point of attack, that makes the 5 man rush against five OL with one defender drawing a double team.

That is a blitz becaaue one man is free to go after the QB.

In a 3-4, the standard rush is 3 DL and one LB with the NT "two gapping" and drawing a double team. This is not a blitz since its a 4 man rush with the NT two gapping.There are no defenders free to rush the QB.

Now, if 2 LBs blitz, or a LB and a S blitz with 3 DL (NT 2 gapping)?

That is a blitz.
