Heyward-Bey pulled up on an out-pattern with an audible groan, clutching his right hamstring early in practice. He did not return, leaving the field with trainer Rod Martin.

As for Mitchell, who missed previous OTAs because NFL rules prohited him for participating before his class at Ohio University had graduated, the hamstring he injured back at the mandatory minicamp remains too sore for him to practice.
