I am so glad I took an anthropology of sport class this semester. Like everyone says it's all a matter of taste. You may find soccer boring, when nascar can be more boring to someone else. Just because someone likes something other then you doesn't rectify calling them out and insulting them. Manster made the best points here. The sport we play are a reflection of our culture, and history plays a big role in what sports we like. Great points btw Mantser

I don't like to watch soccer but my little girl loves playing it. She has been in it the past 3 years and I enjoy her games. If she sticks with it then I am sure I will get more into it but if she would quit I doubt I would ever watch another soccer game. I don't have to have a kid playing football to watch every game on TV but that is just my preference. Everyone has their own preference.

rugby is fun, but is totally unorganized and in no way do they have as many guys that are as big as guys in the nfl. It isn't even close, there are a few big ones, but for the most part, NFL players tower in size to rugby players and don't even try and dispute that. Just because you hate America and its people doesn't justify looking like and sounding like a moronic douchebag

Yep, the best one was the time some Aussies came in here knockin' American football and bragging up their Aussie football. Despite the fact that these flit boys never played EITHER of the sports.

In which case I ended the argument by letting these morons know that the only position that former Aussie football players are playing American football is that ever so dangerous position of punter.
