I can see a clash taking place with Shurmur though... I don't think he was given his due in Cleavland. He could possibly pose a problem for Kelly if he can't manage his locker room.

Shurmer was part of the original Andy Reid staff and was a position coach then quarterbacks coach who developed Mcnabb. When Spagnolo (who also was under staff in Philly) took the Rams head coaching job he took Shurmer as his O coordinator. Having success there and going 8-8 with then rookie qb Bradford, he took the job in cleveland. I dont believe he will be a head ache but understand his role.

I hope so... We'll have to wait and see... I think he got a taste of the head coach thing and may want it back. We'll see what can be done with Foles, I don't think he's the answer. But we'll see what kind of magic can be done to help them out... There are probably the most holes I have personally ever seen in Philly this off-season.

The thing is that they're weak in a bunch of key positions that you don't regularly get quality at in the FA because teams keep 'em. Like DT/NT, OT, C, QB... Could you imagine if the Eagles picked up Flacco, who still hasn't gotten his contract yet?

If you run a search, he's wanted him off his team for about three seasons now.
