He's a wasted pick, that's what he is.

he is a possible replacement for donavon 3 years from now, waste of a pick, obviously the team thinks that donavon is an injury risk.

He was almost a first round pick. Eventually he is gonna be a replacement.

He is a WCO QB. It may not look sexy, but it could prove to be a great pick

They're QBs more suited to the Eagles offense that they should have picked before Kolb.

True but this guy is smart and can become a good QB with Reid as his teacher. Reid has done a good job bring in young guys and teaching them up. My biggest problem with this pick is when it happened. THe Eagles were not that fall away and could have traded up and gotten Olsen or they could have traded down of all the QBs that were being talked about it was Edwards and Beck and maybe Stanton that was going to be the next QB picked. They could have either traded down or even use a later pick to get him.

As I stated on another thread, Kolb has played only one type of offensive scheme. The pros are not a time to learn something from scratch. I would'a thought maybe Beck {being that Reid is a BYU alumn** or perhaps Palko. but IMO this is gonna blow up in our face.

I had a problem with the pick after it was made. Then after seeing our next 3 I was fine with the QB there. Look, we have to reason with ourselves, the Eagles don't think McNabb is an injury risk....he IS. Beck was a 25 year old QB who played in about the same scheme so the same can be said about him IMO. Kolb is the son of a coach, has over 50 starts as a 4 years starter, good arm strength and accuracy. He will have at least 2 years to learn how to handle the 3 step and 5 step drops as well as the system, a system he IMO is perfect for. Originally I wanted a LBer but I am LOVING Bradley there he has great talent and size and should make the team and Hunt is going to be the power back we needed.

Kolb was not what we needed NOW, but when the cards fell we really had no choice IMO but to look to the future and still get an End a LBer and a power back...I actually liked our draft.
