hte kolb pick isn't that bad, he is insurance for mcnabb, but wouldn't play for at least years and who knows, we traded aj feeley for a second round pick. LOL Kolb is a four year starter that is smart and can take a long time to learn the WCO, as he is a WCO type of QB, the EAGLES must have had their draft sheet decimated with all 3 S's that they were looking at all going before their pick. I give the EAGLES a B for addressing the LB position, great role player for Hunt, not an A because they failed to address the S position, which virtually means they will be hoping to get a guy like Gattis in the 4th or after that John Wendling from Wyoming or Michael Johnson from Arizona

Kolb has played in the same style of offense since he started high school. {and it's not a WCO** He's also got a low release so too many of his passes get swatted down. This pick really dissappionted me. Abiamiri and Bradley will solidify the defense.

Tony hunt was a good pick up in the thrid round. Both Beadley and Abiamirri are solid players at the point of attack but lack the top end speed to play side line to sideline. With the way the NFC is going you need players that can stand strong at the point of attack. The Giants will be going with Jacobs being backup by Doroughns neither is a real threat to take it to the outside. Dallas is getting a big oline together but might like having the blocker to get round to block on sweeps, and the Redskins well they are the Redskins. The Kolb pick is a little strange. I will give Reid the benefit of the doubt and say that he becomes a good QB. Does he stay the back up for 3-4 year and then gets traded, or is he viewed as a replacement for McNabb. You do not draft a guy in the second round just to be your back up so I wonder how MacNabb fells about this. The Eagles are know for drafting for the future does MacNabb see this as the team already lookking to replace him.

The good: Athletic senior passer started four seasons at Houston, earning first-team all-conference honors after his final season. Shows sound decision-making, moves easily in the pocket and can throw on the run. Has responded in big games throughout his career. Has above-average arm strength and has developed accuracy and timing in the short and intermediate zones. As a senior, he was 292 of 432 for 3,809 yards, with 30 TD passes and only four INTs. At the Combine, he ran a 4.85 with a 32.5-inch vertical.

The bad: Needs to refine his footwork and motion for better accuracy on long throws. As an underclassman, he tended to lock on to his primary receiver too long and force the ball into heavy coverage too often.

Outlook: He is a good fit for a West Coast offense with his accurate, quick delivery and good decision-making. Has the talent and intangibles to be a fine potential starter in time. Probably at his best when working in a shotgun formation. Marginal Top 100 selection with a starting grade.

Maybe it's just me but all of the above...even the bad sounds like a perfect fit for us. If he HAD to start in the next year I would agree, but this is a perfect situation for him IMO
