It seems that there is always controversy surrounding T.O. (and his mouth) these days. Will this be a distraction and have an effect on the Eagles or will they once again advance to the Superbowl?

Will he still put up ridiculous numbers? Yeah, more than likely.

lol...not an Eagles fan huh. I think they are the team to beat in the NFC, but certainly not my favorite either.

Guy's like T.O. are exactly why I do not care to watch pro football very much. He's egotistical, arrogant, and just needs to get a grip. C'mon TO! You make millions upon millions of dollars to PLAY football!!! But yet, you don't think you make enough. He's a disgrace to the game. To have that much talent and ability and the influence he COULD have, but yet he chooses to be a self-centered show wrecker. All of the guys, who play pro ball, and act like him should be made to sit the bench or be canned...so they have to try and hold down a real job.

I think the only distraction these guys get are from Dollar signs. At this level, I don't think his team gives to you no whats about him. I'm sure it is octword to have a guy on the team that you don't even talk to. Its gotta be wierd hooking up with a guy for a huge touchdown and not even saying a word to him after. But, they are still hooking up so I see no distration there thats hurting the team.

Is T.O. a distraction? Yes, but not to an extent that it matters. Guys like Andy Reid aren't distracted by the rantings of an overgrown 2 yr old. I can say this much: Without TO, the Eagles don't stand a chance.

T.O. is a HUGE distraction, I don't think he will stay healthy throughout the year, hell I give em 6 games before he gets hurt easy

I can't stand the guy. He promotes everything that is wrong with professional sport. Whether it's the NFL, NBA, English football (soccer) there are certain individuals who abuse their status and position to further fill their already overflowing pockets.

However you cannot deny that TO has a talent that probably only a handful of players will have. I think McNabb should get praise for being actually able to work with the guy without knocking his lights out every other day!

That's what I was thinking. I don't understand how people don't think it is a big deal that the QB and his "go to" receiver don't get along. T.O. definitely is a distraction and it will be evident this year when they don't advance in the post season. If they make it that far!
