ESPN - Eagles sign Mexican defensive tackle - NFL

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles signed Mexican defensive tackle Mauricio Lopez on Monday.

A 27-year-old native of Mexico City, Lopez spent three seasons in NFL Europe, playing with Cologne and Amsterdam. He joins an already deep defensive line unit.

The 6-foot-1, 329-pound Lopez had nine tackles and one sack in 2007.

we have alot of depth at DT already i guess its because they want to do what they did last year and rotate the line we already have bunkley reagor ian scott and patterson cant forget about him he had a 98 yard fumble return last year lol run forest run

It was a year are so ago but I read some good things about him, if it is the same guy. How many DT can come from Mexico?

Did they sign him are was he part of NFL International. The NFL will asign some players from around the world to different teams they do not count on the roster or the PS.
