Default Eagles Camp

Quote:
It wasn't a big deal, the Eagles said, when the offensive tackle formerly known as Tra Thomas missed a big chunk of minicamp time because he was having more problems with blood clots in his left leg.
Quote:
A week ago, all indications were that the Eagles expected to have top draft pick Brodrick Bunkley signed and on hand by now. Today begins two-a-day drills with pads and some live hitting, and as Andy Reid noted yesterday, "He's the only one that's not here. The other guys are here, and they're ready to go.''

Eagles sources have denied interest in Lelie.

Jeff Roehl was cut to make room for Correll Buckhalter on the active roster.
1) I dont know how bad the clots are with the tackle formerly know as Tra but blood clots was one of the reason former Cornhusker Tommie Frasier(sp) gave for quiting football

2) This should have been done by know with the Browns signing their pick the market should be set for the guys picked close to him.

3) I would have thought that the Eagles would have liked to add another WR but why would you give up a 1 or 2 for a guy that is so much like FEDEX.

4) This can only be a good sign for all the Buckhalter fans out there. Gunner.

As I have stated before I truly hope he comes back healthy and ready to go, everyone knows we need him in the backfield to achive a good running game. but as a member of the "multiple knee surgery club". I got some worries 'bout that knee and {God forbid** he goes down again. As far as the blood clot story, Tommie had a few of them and they were life threatening. I think the Eagles would'nt put Tra out there if it were under the same circumstance.

I am not a doctor but I would have to guess they either got better meds or they are of differnet type or risk.

william thomas is doing well and they have already said that they are easing him back in the lineup slowly as to be precautious

one would think that with wimpley signing the line would be set for bunkley, but you have to remember that these guys were taken right after two QB's and you know that bunkley and ngata are waiting to see what these "QB" get. the reason wimbley's was so much more than last year's #13 is for that same reason, cleveland just sucked it up and paid what they would have anyway.

Eagles don't have any interest in lelie, even if they did you wouldn't hear word one about it until the deal was done. but take my word for it, headache wr's are last on the list of wants for the eagles.

I am optimistic about buckhalter, but cautiously at best right now, I still would like to see the eagles get johnathan wells.
