With wide receiver Ashley Lelie and running back T.J. Duckett off the trade market after Tuesday's three-team deal, there has to be somewhere else for Eagles fans to turn their attention.
Staley speculation started Tuesday when a story on the NFL.com Web site said that "one NFL general manager said the Pittsburgh Steelers have been shopping... Staley, trying to see if any team would be willing to trade for him before the team would have to release him."
The story then described the Eagles as a logical landing spot for Staley, but several sources said yesterday that there have been no discussions about a trade between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
