I hope the Eagles have the character to bounce back. Personally I feel that they do. There are several areas I would like to see addressed.

Now this may seem obvious, but in no particular these are the areas of concern.

D-Line. I still like Walker and Patterson looks like he can play though I am not sure if I am satisfied with this position. I think we could improve here, though I think I would be fine going into the season with the group as a whole. At DE, I like Cole and just think he's going to get better. Kearse is overpayed and I don't know if he is worthy of the "freak" label anymore. He concerns me. Again, DE can be improved.

LBs. I love Trotter but I think we need a stud OLB (weak or strong side). I think Dhani, Adams and Simoneau are average at best and I am looking forward to seeing more of our other young guys. This is a group that needs work.

Although our secondary struggled, I think we have among the best group of players here in the NFL. Their lack of play is largely attributable to our play up front.

Our O-line really pissed me off this season and I think we need work here across the board. We need more holes in the running game and our protection should improve as well. I hope that this is addressed early in the draft or in free agency. This is my #1 concern.

Running backs are fast and shifty. Wouldn't mind the addition of a bruiser. But if we go into next year with improvements to our O-line, I think we'll be fine. I think the combination of Moats and Westbrook (although they are similar) is dynamic and hopefully they both get their touches.

McNabb needs to regroup this team and let his play speak for itself. I think he'll do fine.

I am not sold on Brown as a #1 WR. I think he's a fine #2. Hopefully we'll get a larger, more reliable target. Lewis and Pinky are no more than role recievers. We're going to need to make moves here.

TE's - I am good with LJ. Would like to see a blocker picked up in the draft.

------------------

Well, thats my thoughts on the situaion. I want to see our OLine, LBs, and WRs overhauled. Also, I've always had faith in Reid. His true colors we will see next year. Any thoughts?

RT is a must. We need to draft a young stud that will give us stability for years and leave Andrews at RG. He has been playing great football there.

Let's get some meat and draft a hefty DT.

If the pick is good enough at 14, we should get one of the highly touted LBs or DEs.

WR must be addressed through FA. Sinorice Moss is not worthy of a 2nd round pick, and Holmes will be gone by that time.

hey kryzoone, nice to see ya. As for the off-season, people need to wake up and realize Andy Reid is not stupid. Remember, "I'm fine with my WR's" two months later we have Terrell Owens. They will start to get bigger linebackers, and some defensive tackles. Also the WR's and o-line will be addressed. Do not fear, the Eagles have come to play

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried. I don't want to see this team slip into the old days. The talent is there. We need the FO to step up to the plate and get us some players. This is a MAJOR offseason for us. Could really determine things down the road.

I think the loss of Simon really hurt us. We definately need to go bigger.

It's okay to be worried. I'm just saying, expect the good to happen though. The Eagles will not sit on their hands.

The loss of Simon didn't hurt us, it was the the loss of Simon and no replacement. Corey Simon might have hurt us if we kept him. In fact the Colts are thinking about cutting him so you may get him back

I think the Eagles are in a unique position this off-season. I can't really pick one position that they're in DESPERATE need to improve at compared to the other positions that they need upgraded. A #1 WR is a must, but their offense would be fine without one. Brown, Pinkston, Lewis, Smith, McNabb, Westbrook, they'd be ok.

OLB would be huge for them, but again, theyve got some average players that they could make it by with. They had an amazing defense the superbowl year, especially down the stretch, and it was with these guys at OLB.

At DE, there's not much you can do about Kearse, I doubt he'd get cut. Spend a late round draft pick on an athletic DE that you can rotate in, similiar to the Giants Justin Tuck. A versitale guy that can play both end positions.

DT, same thing here, Peterson and Thomas arent necessarily bad, and arent necessarily guys that dont belong in an NFL starting lineup, but a huge run stuffer and a guy that demands double teams would do a lot for the Eagles defense.

A running back that's good enough to get 10 or so touches a game would do wonders for Westbrook, Westbrook's gotten hurt with limited carries the past two seasons, so the last thing he needs is to carry the load. It would also do wonders for how they could use him in the passing game. Hell, maybe if you find a good running back, you can just move Westbrook to WR and he can be your #1 reciever
