I have heard it would be Sheppard 2 and 5 for Fitz & he would restructure.

I doubt that. If Detroit wanted a 1st for a lesser WR in Williams, the Cards arent gonna except less than a first, even with Shepard. CB's have a weak trade value

well the Lions are not in a bind with Williams contract the way the Cardinals are with Fitz. Sometimes you have to do what you have to in order to make your situation a whole lot better.

Plus Detroit wanted a 1st only for Roy, we would be offering two picks and a player that helps them immensely

And a player that has limited trade value. CB's just arent worth that much on the trade market

If the Cards can extend Fitz and resturcture his contract, then the money isnt an issue

If the team you are in talks with needs help at CB then your CB goes up in trade value. The Cards need secondary help. Shep is a pro bowler. Fitz is big money. I'd love it.

The Lions needed a CB more than anyone and stole Bodden from Cleveland
