honestly, I wouldn't be sad if we got a big receiver, but what I want is speed. There are a couple WR's we could get in 2 or 3.

Caldwell, Doucett, Manningham (most likley)DJ Hall (underrated IMO), or even Bowman (terrible 40, but will be much better pro than alot of guy picked ahead of him)

I like speed, but I don't want another #2 or 3. And aren't all those WRs #2s?

i just don't want to draft another "true" #1 and have him turn out to be crap. In the EAGLES system it takes so long for a WR to get acclimated that taking a WR in the first is more of a risk than for other teams. I would much prefer Phillips or Chris Williams in the first. I trust the EAGLES talent evaluators to get a worthy player in a round after the first. Hell, we traded Billy McMullen for a late round pick Baskett who turned out better than 1st rounder Freddie Mitchell. I want speed, I want a KR. We really do not NEED to draft a WR in the first

All rookies are #2's
If a rookie is a #1, thats not good

grunt is right, that and if you have a rookie WR as your number one, it probably means you sucked the year before.

personally i'd like to see the eagles go after devin thomas - i know he only had one big year but then again he went to MSU. his 40 time was 4.45 (desean jackson was 4.35)and that is from a guy that is 6'3 and 217lbs. very good hands and he was a real nice return man.
