Donovan McNabb said yesterday that he has spoken with Eagles head coach Andy Reid about the rumors the team will trade him before this month's draft and that Reid assured him that wasn't the case.
"Andy has addressed that to me and let me know that he would never let me go anywhere," McNabb said during an interview with Mike Tirico on the new ESPN-AM (950) radio station. "You know, that kind of promise provided confidence in him, but it wasn't like I was looking to head anywhere unless I was told otherwise."

andy has already said he is satisfied with his "playmakers" but Andy has said things before that have been misleading.

yeah, his actions definitely speak louder than his words. when he claims that having a true #1 wr isn't a priority and then tries to get randy moss and signs the top cb to cover guys like owens, burress or sanatana moss it tells you he's just blowing smoke.
