Eagles host Jackson and Thomas
A source close to the situation confirmed that in addition to hosting Cal wideout DeSean Jackson this week, the Philadelphia Eagles brought in Michigan State's Devin Thomas, a junior eligible who might be the top wide receiver in the draft, despite starting just 14 college games.
Thomas, 6-2, 215, is much bigger and stronger than Jackson, but like Jackson, he offers solid kick-return credentials. Thom-as is said to run well after the catch, something the Birds emphasize.
The Eagles also are believed to have hosted 6-6, 220-pound Indiana wideout James Hardy this week.
