I think so too, the bengals had good draft IMO and got a steal in Nicholson in the fifth round. Hopefully he'll turn out better than Henry has so far from a criminal aspect. I think as long as palmer is healthy than it is their division. Sorry Poppa.

Palmer is the key, he needs to make a full recovery for them to do anything next season.

No dont about it...The browns arent ready to compete with Charlie Frye and same with Baltimore with Boller. I like the Bengals to win the division with the steelers in second. Watch out for the Ravens though, they made some very key acquisitions and upgrades. If they get Steve McNair, keep in mind they have Derek Mason. Those two have played together and McNair loves to go to Mason.

that's why I said right now the QB is boller, there has been as much speculation that the ravens will have kerry collins and he is awful. I am not sold on the ravens at this point but that could change.

I mean they might not win the division or any thing. But, I really think they are a legitimate wild card contender. You have to realize this team played with out Ray Lewis and Ed Reed for a good portion of the year. Don't forget this defense features Samari Rolle, Chris McCallister, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, and I really think that Haloti Ngata can make a huge impact. I think they can win the wildcard.

there are too many teams in the AFC this year that will contend for the wildcard. Miami and New England, Denver, KC, SD, Indy, Jax, Cincy, Pitt only 6 of those make the playoffs. oak could contend with thier defense being improved and moss being healthy. I just don't see any room for the ravens. too many offensive questions. Also, even if McNair goes to the ravens, it will be a new team with a new system to learn and new plays altogether, what is that saying about old dogs and new tricks. It takes time for new QB's especially to acclimate to thier new surroundings as Saints fans will find out with Brees this year.

Yeh i agree with what your sayin, but i figure Oakland and Kansas City won't contend. I just think the Ravens will have a shot. They might not get in. But, they will be headed in the right path.

if the Ravens are contending then so will the KC. they still have one of the best offenses and a defense that should be able to hold their own.

If the Baltimore D shows up and they get a guy at QB (McNair rumors) they very well could win the division. They were drilled by injuries last year and on O (except QB) they have weapons, Mason (who was great with McNair) Clayton, Moore, Heap, Lewis...and if the D steps up they may be the most complete team in the division IMO.
