Also, if you look at jackson's average from the season before the offense change it was much higher, although he had a lot fewer catches overall. The one thing I am afraid about CJ is that he could be a combine guy. He was well behind holmes prior to the combine, but he shot up after that. Florida guys don't have much success at the next level aside from Darrell Jackson and it took him some time to get credit. (this also scares me cause the eagles have gaffney) Anyway, BB is a good judge of talent and he certainly won't ask chad to do too much in his first year. So, that will help that he has time to develop and has a great coach to learn from. You won't hear much from chad this year, but the future could be good.
I think that the steelers have a good shot to go 14-2 or 13-3, the schedule is not that tough when you think about how many teams are actually better than the steelers. They are all winable games.

I'd say that's pretty accurate. 14-2 overall. They only would've lost a couple games last year at most too, if not for Big Ben going down with injury, and playing injured in the Colts game. Only reason I have them losing to Baltimore is the division thing where there's a tendency to split games.
I think they got better this offseason in all reality. Fast Willie will be a 2nd year starter, as will Heath, and Big Ben is more experienced. Their only notable loss IMO is Hope, and Clark sounds like a similar player, and Carter or Smith might be decent at it too. Bus was a backup, ARE caught 35 passes and only threw 3 times, Kimo was old but good, and Keisel will be just as good.
The Ravens lost Ngata to a knee injury yesterday (not sure how severe it is yet). Bengals lost Thurman to 4 games, and Palmer might not make it back or be his old self...their D still is weak. Browns are out due to losing Bentley, not as if they were ever in it anyway.
Why would they lose to cincy week 3, carson wont play in that game, and they wont lose to baltimore because ray lewis is gonna stab Mcnair, and the panthers will be a tough game but the steelers are amazing on the road, and pittsburgh owns denver...did you see the AFC championship? And you really think phillip rivers will lead his team to victory over the steelers, Chargers are lucky to make 3rd place in that division with a record above .500
Dont pencil Big Ben in for 5 losses just yet, he only has 4 in 2 years
I forgot to add that having that good of a record depends on them staying healthy, which is always the case. Ben or Troy in particular go down, or Fast Willie, it'll be a long year.
