ESPN.com - NFL - Steelers lock up DE Smith with extension through 2011

in an offseason where the steelers are losing more than they are gaining, they made a great move in locking up Smith and keeping that line together for at least 3 more years.

Also, Tomlin a guy who you think would lean towards the 4-3, makes this move which could lead you to believe that he is going to keep the 3-4. He said some vague comments about running a 4-3,3-4, or even 3-3, so who knows.
