Santonio Holmes has yet to play a game for the Steelers, but he is averaging one arrest a month since being drafted in the first round April 29.
Holmes had been charged with disorderly conduct over the Memorial Day weekend in Florida. He's facing charges of domestic violence by assault and assault in connection with an incident last Sunday in Columbus, Ohio.
Holmes apologized in a statement released by the Steelers Tuesday that read, in part, "I understand that being a Pittsburgh Steeler carries along with it the demands for responsible behavior off the field."
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry, a former standout at West Virginia University, has been arrested four times in the past six months, most recently on charges of providing alcohol to three underage girls. Previously, Henry had been charged in separate incidents with drunken driving and speeding, pulling a pistol in downtown Orlando, Fla., and marijuana possession.
