eh, if kimo doesn't injure carson, we are all singing a different tune, but sometimes that is how the tendon snaps.

send me a link where Ben siad that he did not get in the end zone.
also everyone keeps talking about the refs, what about the refs in the indy game. the call went against the Steelers, also the 2 fumbles in the super bowl that the REF's took AWAY from the Steelers. so i do not want to hear about the refs anymore, thats just a cop out excuse people just dont want pittsburgh to win because they are not flashy, they are hard hitting, cram the ball down your throat, hit you in the mouth, blue collar football team that has a big strong QB, and LB's that will take your head off and that is not the style that people likes to watch.

Sorry steelman, don't have a link. I read it on SI or on another football magazine somewhere, but I'm not going to try to convince you that he said that because judging by your posts, you won't believe me, but trust me, he did say that. Sorry buddy, no cop out. The refs did influence the outcome of your SB victory. I respect your team because they did accomplish something pretty special on how they got to the SB. Don't believe me? Ask anybody here on this site, who is not a Steelers fan, what they thought about your SB victory.

statistically and performance wise, the seahawks outplayed the steelers, ben had an awful game. The refs did make bad calls both ways, however the ones that went against the hawks, were much more important to the outcome than the one's against the steelers.

Gentlemen, refs are a part of the game as all football players know. The whole season had a bad rap for bad officiating. I'm getting tired of the ref situation being pinned on the Steelers. We overcame the refs against the Colts and still won. I highly doubt Mr. Rooney paid off the refs. What's done is done, and complaining won't change things. I've had bad refs in my game, and if we lost it was never their fault. We looked at what we could have done better to where their calls wouldn't have mattered. The thread is about next season, not last season so I recommend getting back on topic.

Poppa, you're probably right. But no matter what you say, all the fans that are not Steeler fans are always going to remember this as the SB that the refs helped the Steelers win. Is it fair? Absolutely not, but unfortunately, I think that's how it's going to be.

Of course he's right, but I look past it as does every Steelers fan. Ironically though, I live in New England and haven't heard any Patriots fans complain about the Super Bowl result except the fact that their team wasn't playing in it.

Naturally your gonna look pass it, that's your team!!! As far as hearing people complain about it, you won't hear it. I live right in the middle of chargerville and nobody talks about it unless somebody brings it up, then it's like a flood breaking open a dam!!
