Good-
Anthony Smith is a beast
Big Ben is playing well, although he shouldve played AT LEAST the first half vs eagles
Charlie Batch is a solid backup
Rookie WRs making an impact
Nate Washington stepped up big time
Verron Haynes stepped up
cedric Humes has been productive
John Kuhn is tearing it up
Cedric Wilson showed he a good #2
Joey Porter is healthy
Tommy Maddox is no longer playing
Bad-
Shane Boyd and Omar Jacobs are equally terrible in their own ways
Duce Staley is doing absolutly nothing
Hines Ward is injured
Coclough is regressing again
Jeff Reed missing long FGs
Oh, and their not winning, which i dont really care, but its annoying.
Preseason is good. Good to weed out the rookie wanna bees and good to get the vets back in form.
BTW K Train Rothy had a mediocre performance at best. I didn't see the game but he was 9/14 for 52yds and 1 INT. Well thats 5yds per pass completion and 1 INT for every 9 pass completions.
The only thing that looks good is his completion percentage. But not when you figure in his yds per completion.

Well, its good for the subs. They actually get playing time in the Preseason. Like Lienart, he probably won't get any playing time during the season. Unless Kurt Warner gets injured.

Ya know if I were Green I would play Lienhart at least the first half next week. If he keeps playing the way he did last night who knows?

i like preseason it gives the scrubs a chance to make the team and you get to see the rookies play. However i do think they should only play two preseason games and play 18 regular season games.

lol, you didnt see the pick then, it was 3rd and 38 and he threw it up. How are you suppose to convert a 3rd and 38? Damn intentional grounding penalty. And he only played 3 series which was kinda disappointing.

Well K Train on 3rd and 38 your SCREWED. You run it up the middle for 2-10yds then punt. I don't know how to convert it but I do know you don't ever throw it up for grabs unless there's 00:00.02 left on the clock in the 4th quarter. Now do you believe me he's over rated?

No but i believe it was a bad decision...under normal circumstances, but its preseason why not try a hail mary, they wouldve done a draw normally and punted, but 3rd and 38 is a ridiculous situation....not much you can do. Good thing its preseason.
The game never hinges on one play so don't force it. When you get backed up like that draw and punt. There's always the next series.
They just better remind Ben not to pull that ship in the regular season.
