The Steelers complied with today's mandatory roster reduction to 75 more than 24 hours in advance, making their cuts on Monday morning. Released were long-snapper Kyle Andrews, safety Zach Baker, kicker Mark Brubaker, fullback Doug Easlick, offensive tackle Nick Hagemann, guard Grayling Love, linebacker Malcolm Postell and wide receiver Isaac West. First-year offensive tackle Ulish Booker was placed on the injured-reserve list (knee). Rosters must be cut to 53 by 4 p.m. Saturday.
• The Steelers have 76 players on their roster, including wide receiver Marvin Allen, who will spend this season as a ninth member of the practice squad as a part of the NFL's International Development Practice Squad Program.
"Going to 75 is not a tough cut," coach Bill Cowher said. "Certainly, the next one will be."
