Default Ben Roethlisberger

Is he an awesome athlete or what?

I have never seen a team depend so much upon one individual teammate.

He's a great leader for our Steelers though...I wouldn't trade him for anything!

I love Big Ben! He has been a great asset to our Steelers for sure. For years, we lacked a strong quarterback, which is essential for a football team. I'm glad we drafted Ben, and hope he is around for years to come.

I think that might be taking it a little too far. He is a great player, but he is going to have to stay healthy if he even wants to think about being considered a legend.

They do rely on him alot. But its not just him. They rely on alot of people. THats why they are a great tema. Philly relies on McNabb more than we do Big ben. The Colts rely on Peyton more than we rely on Big Ben. But yes he is essential to our success.

Or maybe he could be make it deep into the playoffs in his first and second years in the NFL, or maybe he could take his team to the Super Bowl after going in as the 6th seed, and be the second-youngest QB ever to play in the SB.. that would be pretty legendary. Record breaking in fact. Big Ben is not a future legend. Big Ben is a current legend. And if he can beat the Seahawks, he'll just add to that resume. If plays only five more years, even if he doesn't win this Super Bowl or ever see another, he's done enough already to be in the Hall of Fame.

agreed, i think some people forget that he has only two years. and in his first year he never lost a regular season game. and taking the sixth seed to the super bowl has never happened, but he did it. i can't wait to see the kind of success he has once he has been in the league for six or seven years.

I give his beard most of the credit for his post season peformance.

But no, he is a great player, I see him kind of resembling Tom Brady in his style. He makes some great plays, but even on a bad day he will not lose the game for his team. He is not out their trying to be a superstar, he is just playing within their system. I like it.
