He shows excellent ball skills and the good hands to make many big plays. He is quick to read and react and can come up in run support and make the stop, though he is not a big hitter. He showed advanced coverage skills, especially in zone situations where can match up with most receivers. He has excellent leaping ability and the hands to go up and make the big interception. He is a real student of the game.

Hmmm, contradictory to other scouting reports about him being a big hitter and his LACK of skills in coverage.

The Santonio Holmes trade gets an A+. Immediate starter. Easily an upgrade over Randle El. And by the way the Steelers picked in the 3rd round, that pick they gave up for Holmes would of been worthless.

The more I read up on Reid, the more I like him. Our offense is going to have some sick speed with Holmes, Reid & FWP and endless weapons for Ben. The days of Kordell are truly over, we're traveling via Air Ben in place of The Bus. Reid is a game-breaker in the return game.

But these last two guys could've been had much later ya think? Oh well, I'll trust the FO with their recent track record and since they know just a little more than us.
