I like our first two picks. Holmes is obviously the best wideout in this draft. Anthony Smith I 've only seen him play twice, liked what I saw on field. Insticntive, smart, can actually catch the ball, can at least play ST until ready to start. I don't have a problem with this pick because that's where alot of people had him slotted to go. And he's a playmaker, peroid. In Lebeau, I trust.

I like Willie Reid, but not at the end of the 3rd This a reach, playing one great bowl game shouldn't get you drafted on the first day. Many places had him in the 5th/6th round, It's even worse because we have a better, more polished version already of him on the team, Holmes. Also, I don't know why we picked Reid with guys like Demtruis Williams, Rod Wright, Mark Anderson, etc... still on the board. There were much better players available. Just awful. :barf:

Reid's 40 times pushed him up to borderline day 1. if you look around at a lot of the top 100s he's right in that range.

Hey Nixon (or any other draft guys), I was watching Day 2: Sleeper Picks on Yahoo Sports and one of the sleepers was this RB converted to FB named Quadtrine Hill from Miami. Any info and opinions on this guy if you've ever even heard of him?

I like the idea, he's a big back who's scouting report strengths are great vision and quickness as an inside runner for his size. Also, supposedly a good pass catcher out of the backfield. Seems like a versatile role player who'd be a good fit for us to complement Willie

Quadtrine Hill

Yeah, after calming down a bit, I realize Reid's not as bad as I said. Your right about him being in the top 100 on alot of boards, including Rick Gosslein's. My biggest promblem with taking him there is that I think there were better players available than him (i.e. Rod Wright, Demtruis Williams, Mark Anderson, etc..) and we basically drafted a much more polished and better version of him in round 1. I realize picking late in the drafr you can't be picky, but I will say, I love the speed they did pick up. It shows a shift of the way we are thinking from a pounding, grind it out, 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense to a high-octane, fast, quick-strike offense that many people wanted, including myself.

Ive never seen Smith play and I was really hoping for Bing or Simpson but from what i read he could be another Brian Dawkins type? what does every1 think bout him? I like the Holmes pick and the Reid pick other than that

Nevermind. I just saw your Day 2 Wishlist and it has Gerald Riggs on it I think he's good enough to be more than just a situational RB.

Hill is a JAG (Just another guy.) .. good training camp/depth body but that's it. No diamond in the rough potential.
