Are you saying that Parker isn't that guy? I thought the whole RB discussion was to draft a guy that would compliment Parker not take over for him.

Parker is a 3rd down back, at best. His receiving skills are just OK. he's a decent outside runner. He can't pound it between the tackles and his field vision isn't that great though. So yeah, we need someone to take over for Parker, IMO.

I love his big play ability but for 99% of the game he is average at best.

You guys are both on crack. Over 1,400 all purpose yards and you claim he isn't a starter?? Get the **** out of here! Parker did this in his 1st season as a starter and only played sparingly in college. Like Ben, his rookie year, I thought he got rundown by seasons end. But there is no reason to think that he won't come out this season and be much improved. With the restructuring of Duce and the resigning of Haynes I see no reason why RB would even be addressed in the draft unless it was a 2nd day pick.

Has anyone seen Drake around anymore? I miss his hysterical and ignorant rantings. They used to give me such a laugh.

My rantings weren't as big a laugh as seeing Bitter naked, for the 1st time, right before you 2 lathered up were they?

You guys remember how he used to read the draft report on ESPN and come back all puffed up spouting off everything he read with absolutely no concept of the draft or any of the players involved beyond Kiper's top 15? Ah, I'll miss the little guy.

I would keep playing your game, but I have this sick feeling that you may be nude and touching yourself.

You have to look at more than just the stat lines. I remember at least two games where if you took away "one big run" Parker averaged little more than 1 yard per carry. We need more than 1 yard more than once a game from a starting running back. Its as simple as that.
