Drake doesn't watch the games, just the highlights.

You have to look at more than just the stat lines. I remember at least two games where if you took away "one big run" Parker averaged little more than 1 yard per carry. We need more than 1 yard more than once a game from a starting running back. Its as simple as that.
Like I stated earlier he was a 1st year starter. You just don't give up on a guy that had over 1,400 all-purpose yards his 1st season as a starter and is the current record holder for the longest TD run in Super Bowl history. Not to mention the line has a lot to do with his numbers as well.

I'm not "giving up on him" at all. Bring someone in and if Parker improves enough to fend him off he's the man. Hell, I'm not even saying that Parker won't be twice as good as he was last year. I'm just saying he wasn't good enough to gain our unconditional faith in him.

Thats fine, but don't spend a 1st day pick on one. I was all for White until they restructured Staley and resigned Haynes. It would be a waste of a pick now.

You spend a day one pick on the best available player. If that's a running back so be it.

Heh. That would be the one position that I would sway from that. You're so predictable. I even thought to myself, I need to add that exception otherwise "The Drake" will see his dinner hanging there and go all on full slobber for it.

under the theory of BPA you factor in all players available to you. IE What's on your team and what's in teh draft. In this case there's no one better than Ben in round 1, theoretically..
