Nice.

But our title defense is this year and we need to upgrade that running game!

I would also support trading our first for Javon Walker BTW.

I realize it takes most WR a year or two to contribute, but is already very polished. he just needs to add some weight. I don't disagree completely, but by all accounts Duce was healthy beyond the bye last year. According to Cowher, after both Duce and Bettis got healthy, Duce voluntary asked Cowher to bench him in favor of Jerome's swansong. Duce was a pro about ir and never really complianed. It did make a impression on Cowher, I don't think rewarding Duce would be by benching him in favor of a 1st round draft pick.

As far as Willie goes, how often did Jerome the last few years average YPC before the 3rd/4th quater? He was bocoming a liability faster than Willie runs. Willie had the least amount of carries of any 1,000 yard back, holds the SB record for the longest run, if he had been a 1st day rookie and had 50 more carries at his average he would be a 1400 yard back nobody woould be complaining.

He goes nowhere more often than not. He's a third down back, Willie Parker. If you think Duce is your answer then thats what you roll with I guess.
