Default Here we go

Well i know all of you like to bash the steelers....and me for that matter, but after blowing the lead they had and losing momentum like they did they desereve all of you bashing.

Roethlisberger obviously is playing bad, making poor decisions and forceing throws, which he never has done before. But im not gonna give up on him after 2 losses, unlike the people he let down in FFB (which im not sure why you would have drafted him in FFB anyway). Its not all him like you all would like to think, the WRs would be on a roll and make great catches and then on the next play drop a big one. For any of you who have seen the game, the muffed punt the coclough had was a huge swing, they had driven the ball down cincys throat all game long and they had the lead. I dont know what to say about him, hes never played well and cowher keeps giving him chances.

The running game was fantastic, willie was tearing it up. The defense was punishing, carson took a beating all day with 6-7 sacks and 3 fumbles and 2 picks. Rudi Johnson was absolutly shut down. Our dumb turnovers made short fields for the bengals and they took advantage of them.

We had a run like this last year after ben got hurt, they lost to baltimore, indy, and cincy and he played in the last 2 and played absolutly terrible, all of you want him to be benched after games???? thats ridiculous, its his job and he will improve, this week was better than last week and thank god there is a by-week this week because they seriously need to regroup badly and get the offense moving. I hope he has to take tons, and tons of reps over the next two weeks because he needs them. Another issue is punt returning...hmmm PR problems....hmmm, i dont know mabey...WILLIE REID, i mean thats why they drafted him and all.

And one more thing...what happened to Jeff Reed, he had kicking at Heinz Field mastered and he seems to be in a slump.

I hope Cowher can get the team back together because they couldve easily won today and blew it and it could come back to hurt us if these problems arent addressed soon

it seems like he was forcing stuff deep, when he had plenty of stuff underneath.

Absolutly, which bothers me because he has never done that before, and going deep is good, but you cant when you have 12+ seconds to just stand there and look with no pressure, because the DBs see it from a mile away and Cincys DBs can catch.

In the last two games, it seems that after the beginning he completely ignores heath miller.

I know, that upsets me to because ive never seen the guy drop a pass and hes a huge target, his problem isnt even forcing it to ward, its just throwing it into dangerous situations when he really doent have to and sometimes he connects and others not, but Heath should be his safe guy to go to.

Theyve been in this situation before and hopefully they can rebound.

Thought Carson couldnt beat the Steelers?? On one drive he had 2 fumbles and an INT but thats about it. The other INT wasnt really his fault. Not to mention he had 4 TD passes on the Steeler D. Pitt is in a hole now. 1-2 with Cincy and the Ravens being 3-0.

Great? do you think i didnt know that? Carson had a long day, he took a beating, but he made some good throws off of our turnovers, good for him. I dont know what else to say, i cant really defend the steelers on this one...they screwed themselves.

Yes they did. Two weeks in a row now. And to think that by your standards the Bengals are just scumbags. Well, you guys just got beat by scumbags. Lol. I'm just giving you a hard time. The Steelers are still a team to be afraid of.

after getting his knee blown out the way he did, there was no way Carson was going to lose this one... he woulda played both sides of the ball if they would have let him...

Good rant K Train, I feel the same way. They controlled the game, and then proceeded to hand it over on a silver platter with turnovers. Great job to Willie Parker though, nobody can bash his performance. Good thing we got an early bye week, because the Steelers need to get their s**t together and get healthy (especially Polamalu).
