the Steelers will break their tradition and wear their white jerseys during the Super Bowl. I know this isn't huge news, but there is nothing going on so i thought i would put it up anyways
Ya, I saw that on ESPN today...They say they want to continue their streak of winning on the road, and wearing their road jerseys. Personally I like their black jerseys better, but whatever makes them happy is perfectly fine with me...
That is pretty sweet.
How do they even get to choose which jerseys they wear? Are they the "home" team so they can choose? And who decides who is the home team?
I have never even thought about jerseys in the super bowl before.
The home team just alternates between the AFC and NFC every year, and currently it is the AFC. The home team gets to choose what jerseys they want to wear.
I dont think the color of the jersey matters to the Steelers. I just hope they play in Detroit like they did this whole playoff season. On the road. And even though they are favored to win, they should play as if they are not. I think they play alot harder as underdogs.
