By dispersing a fan-base across the country due to the economic decline in Pittsburgh in the late 70's and early 80's Steeler fans represent well in practically every NFL city today.

The Terrible Towel is a Pittsburgh Icon........too bad a town that can root for interchangeable teams of either the Colts, Browns and Ravens didn't come up with an ingenious gimmick.
