If the steelers manage to get to 5-6 in 2 weeks ,would you consider them a legitimate playoff team. There only like 2 games out of a wild card spot. They have lost several games because of turnovers. I think we saw there potential last weekend when they didnt have those ridiculous Fumbled Punts , QB Snaps ,Interceptions when where is scoring posiiton.

You also saw the defense give up 500+ yards and 31 points.
The stupid turnovers will probably catch up with us now that Sanfumblio Holmes is back returning punts. There's no way this team wins 6/7 of their last games. However it is a weak *** schedule and if we did eliminate our stupid mistakes and if Cowher would take his head out of his *** then there's no way this team shouldn't win out besides at Baltimore.
Besides, the only playoff spot basically open now is the 6th seed, and Jacksonville already has the tiebreaker over us.
NO they aren't going to make the playoffs there are two many other good teams in front of them. The chargers, bengals, jaguars, jets, and cheifs all have to do horrible the next to weeks for that to be possible

If the Steelers win out, maybe they'll have a shot. Oh, the Bengals are not a good football team, and your Jets have surprised alot of people, but when it comes to being a contender...their a pretender, sorry.
I think the Steelers have dug too deep a hole to climb out, but until their officially eliminated from playoff contention, I'll remain hopeful.

Oh I'd agree, as a fan all you can do is keep hope until it is officially over. During the Bears run of bad season, I usually would manage to maintain a glimmer of hope with a 3-5 or 4-6 record.
The Steelers have surprised me, while a lot of folks seemed to think they would not repeat I thought they would be just as strong as last season. I didn't see any real significant subtractions from last year's team.
