Roethlisberger says Falcons player taunted him about head injury
PITTSBURGH (AP) Ben Roethlisberger won't have any trouble remembering the hit that gave the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback his latest concussion.
``It felt like it busted my whole jaw,'' he said Wednesday.
He also won't forget the crude comment made by one of the three Atlanta Falcons players who, while sacking him Sunday, apparently taunted Roethlisberger by saying he wanted to hit him in his surgically repaired face.
Roethlisberger took part in limited work during practice Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Oakland, despite receiving his second concussion in about four months. He has not been cleared by doctors to play but, if he is, plans to ``beg and plead'' with coach Bill Cowher to do so.
``If you ask me, I'm always leaning toward playing, no matter what it is,'' he said Wednesday. ``But it's something we have to be smart about.''
Taunt him all you want but the guy has been on fire the last 2 weeks, i dont think hes even thrown one bad pass and has like 6 tds...i hope this isnt a setback which i dont think it is and we can beat oakland with batch but i dont want him to miss a game and be rusty because in 2 weeks,....Denver, and thats a huge game.

Im not worried about batch, im worried about Ben missing a game and losing the rhythm he has finally established right before we play denver, i just hope this isnt a major setback for him because the season is starting to slip away.
If their D shows up. BTW the Raiders are #1 in passing defense.
I didnt know that, i did know there run d was up there, but then again that doesnt matter when you only win one game
I guess im not one to talk with the steelers only winning 2, it doesnt feel like they are 2-4, it feels like they have played better than a 2-4 team and still have the ability and the time to turn it around....but when? The raiders d isnt exactly something to be afraid of if you ask me though.
