you are measuring the wrong thing my friend, just look at stats this year if we can slow down parker and the offense doesnt turn the ball over where it could hurts us defensively. I say we can squeak out a victory. Also figure in the whole is ben going to play or not, distraction. plus the steelers suck this year, we are not the chiefs we have a defense. yup is safe to say we might win this week, we are getting better every weekend and we can use this game to measure where we are at this season ,playing an underachieving team with alot of talent.

The truth of the matter is that the Steelers lost 3 of their 4 losses due to the 2 most important players on the team (by far) playing hurt and thus ineffective. In KC you saw them both healthy, and the team dominated on both sides of the ball. In Atlanta the O dominated yet again, but the D gave up too many pass plays. Now take the Raiders, and they just suck and haven't dominated ANYONE PERIOD, on EITHER side of the ball! Cleveland even beat them...come on!
BTW, #1 rated pass D isn't hard to accomplish if the other team is always running the ball down your throat to grind the clock out. If they can win running, why would they ever pass?

if you call the Ravens and Chiefs inferior opponents then i dont know what to tell you. ill take losing by a last second TD and losing by a 54 yard FG anyday over getting blown out like the Raiders, Cardinals, or 49ers.

Steelers have been playing great football...on one side of the ball or the other, the offense has been unstopable...porters back this week, mabey we can put it all together.
Raider have the #1 pas defense blah, they really havent played any tough teams and the cheifs had the number 4 defense and were shredded. The raiders d is rank high because they are on the field so much after each and every three and out...sorry but thats the way it is.
But the way its been i guess anything can happen, but i just dont see us losing this one no matter who is taking the snaps.
