what's up guys. i try and post every week on the forums of the saint's next opponent. i will be the first to tell you that the steelers are alot better than their record shows. they are really having some bad luck. i was so mad watching them give atlanta that win that seemed to change both of their seasons. i am really worried for the saints that this game is the game that the steelers pull it together. the main advantage for the steelers is that there is no tommorow anymore. one more loss and their season is done. i like the steelers and hope this is a competitive game that goes down to the wire.

Good post...well its all but over now, but i would like to see a victory just to make myself feel better, we are better than this, Jacksonville whooped us, but other than that theyve been gifts from us to the opponent. We will be playing mad this week, looking for some little light in this long, cold, lonely, dark tunnel...but lucky for you we like to fumble alot and give games away.
It should be a good game. If Batch plays then the game should be very competitive. The Steelers are still a good team. I expect there defense to be very angry and to come out aggressive. The Saints are also a good team but it is important for them to come out and play like the Steelers are 6-2, not 2-6. I expect a good game and my prediction will come later in the week.
"but lucky for you we like to fumble alot and give games away."
lucky for the steelers that the saints aren't very good with interceptions. they have gotten some good bounces from fumbles though.
If you just read the box score and stats from last week's game, that was very misleading. Big Ben actually played really good, and only one of those INTs was really "on him". One of them was the result of Cedric Wilson stopping on the play after he made a move to the sideline. Ben threw it to where he should've been, and Bailey got it. The last one was a hail mary at the end of the game. So if you throw out those 2 meaningless INTs, he was around 70%, 430 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Fumbles were the culprit. Wilson fumbled on the 5 yard line, and Ward fumbled inside the 1 yard line. We lost by 11 points, and that is 14 lost points right there. Then throw in Sanfumblio's punt return fumble on our own 10 yard line, that's another 7 points given to the Broncs. We beat ourselves, the Broncs certainly didn't.
I know you hate santonio, but i think hes a great rookie WR, but the guys is absolutly terrible at special teams and willie reid needs to get better because ST has never been holmes thing...even in college.
