and in this day and age in the nfl, not many teams properly use the draft or can evaluate talent.

they should have went after davenport or anderson. I think most of the top backs in the draft as speed backs (other than lendale)

maroney is a power guy as well. those two FA's would have been nice but they will be fine. You may see them trade up to try and get maroney.

Maroney is a good mix of power and speed. Pittsburgh would be smart to trade up and get him.

teams still need role players and this deal works out great for both sides. Staley gets to keep winning and the Steelers get to save money.

at least staley knows his role, he needs to stay healthy to keep that role though.
