He'll be fine, if he does get hurt i really like what verron haynes does....he know how to move the chains and has been waiting for his chance. I like Cedric Humes to, but i guess he contact shy right now (so was larry johnson), but 6-2 240 is a big back.
Humes sounds like crap in camp from what I've heard. Verron is definitely a good back, but he's nowhere near as good as Duce is when healthy. I'm not too worried about our RB situation, far from it actually.
Humes is just a raw player, he'll sit like haynes did. Once he learns to lower his shoulders and go he'll be okay. But like i said he contact shy, backs get over that.
LOL, yeah I know, just wasn't thinking. I had just read an article on Mike Bell (Denver's undrafted rookie RB being promoted to the #1, and Bell was the one I was hoping we'd take instead of Humes..that's where I got undrafted from)
They obviously have a good line. It's the system moreso than anything. They just have athletic linemen that execute to perfection, and it opens up holes for the RBs on a consistent basis. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...ers/18274.html
Duce Staley i think will do good because he is a good player and he will be a big momentom shift for the steelers but he will be dominte on that team if he trys and wants to win
