Default Steelers voted most physical team

According to a poll of 361 NFL players, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the overwhelming winners as the league's most painful and punishing team to play against.

The poll, conducted by Sports Illustrated magazine, showed that 31 percent of the players surveyed tabbed the Steelers as the most physical team. A distant second were the Baltimore Ravens at 11 percent. The Chicago Bears were third with 8 percent of the vote.

"That's sounds about right," said Steelers tight end Jerame Tuman, who wasn't one of the players who took part in the survey. "We've always prided ourselves on being a physical team. So has Baltimore."

The Steelers (4-6) play the Ravens (8-2) at 1 p.m. Sunday in Baltimore.

The 9-1 Indianapolis Colts _ who Steelers linebacker Joey Porter called a "finesse" team last year _ received just one vote

Well KT I'm glad you can keep a positive attitude and not disappear like other fans when their teams don't perform. I kind of figured you would though.

This whole most physcial thing is garabage. And I'm not saying that because the Steelers were "voted" most physical. You don't know who SI asked and really, an you tell which team is most physical. Every single team in the NFL is big, strong, and fast. I mean, the Steelers have some heavy hitters but it is more reputation. They are known to be tough. Plus, the whole "steel" thing gives off the idea of tough. Its kinda like comedians. If some random dude tells a joke it might not be that funny. But if a professional comedian tells it then it is funny. Its funny because you expect the comedian to be funny. You are already in the mood to laugh. If some random dude (any team but the Steelers) tells a joke (hits hard) it isn't funny. (hitting hard) But if the Steelers tell the same joke (hit exactly as hard) then it is way funnier. (way harder hit)

Ya I figured I might lose some people in the end of my post. It makes sense to me. And ya, SI is garabage. And watch out buddy, some elders from an old folks home are going to come to your house and violently beat you down with daisys. Its gonna happen. Just wait.

Is this the same kind of poll that said Urlacher is the second most overrated player in the league. If it is then I really want to know who they are asking, not that I care but it looks like they might of asked a lot of players from the AFC in this one.
