I like the way it is, it is the way it has been done, the pros and cons benefit and hurt both teams involved. If you want to win it, then win it in regulation, the match my score thing does make it exciting in college, but it would change the approach to end of games, instead of saying we have to stop this team as a defense, it will be, at least we have a shot to match. It just sounds like people again trying to change the game just for the sake of changing. There is nothing wrong with the way it is and there is no need to feed the stat hungry fans.

I like both ways and I also like how I get to watch both styles. The NFL is fine how it is. I mean, if they changed it to the way college does it then I would be fine but the way it is now is fine to.

Also, this thread should be in the NFL forum. Not the off topic forum.

i dont know about this one, while i like college fb OT i dont want the sudden death format to change. if you cant make the plays to stop the other team then you deserve to lose in NFL OT.

i'd like to see it changed, one posession per team, if you score the other team has a chance to tie, and if neither teams scores then its a tie

Hayden Fry once said "A tie is like kissing your sister." so there should'nt be ties at all. That being said, I like the way it's set up for both the NCAA and the NFL.

Yeah that would be great to see. I mean you have to give the other team a chance. I mean it's like if a team was to play the Colts and then the Colts gave up a TD in OT then Peyton wouldn't get a chance to tie. And it's very plain and boring. I just think it would be more exciting and we would get a chance to see some crazy plays.
