For Colleges, Lindy's has had the best track record recently. If you want straight gaming information, such as angles, trends, past records, and ATS info, Mark Lawrence's playbook is as good as it gets. The playbook deals with statistical and trned info only, and has little to say about player personnel on each team. Steele and Feist are way too opinionated, and spend too much time trying to sell you their "Tout" info. Feist has fallen on hard times, and Steele has been convicted on fraud charges stemming from his numerous "Tout" rackets.

I always get Lindy's every year just because it talks about every player almost. I got a Street and Smith once and it talked about next years draft and listed their top fifty players three of the top ten never were drafted and most of the players were way over rated. They did a poor job of projecting a player to the next level. Athons I can take or leave.

I get Mark Lawrences Playbook every year, but that is for professional reasons. I have found that you really can not go wrong with Lindy's. They do a very good job each year, and have a format that is easy to read and to understand.

i like Street and Smiths.. but my favorite is the NFL Preview issue of Sports Illustrated.. it tells alot about each team and grades them in certain areas.. projected records, key signings, all that good stuff...

I stopped reading those mags, they all have contradictory information

i like to read the one by athalon sports. it has articles and his has fantasy info, its a good mag.
