that's because they were always the best teams and madden and summerall were the top broadcasters on fox so they always called the biggest games.

But the thing is I remember they would even call the Cowboys- Cards games. It seemed their game of the week was whichever Cowboy/49er game had the least chanceto be a 30 point blowout

Ya, Madden really needs to die. If the game is really good then he is alright, although he does talk like you have never seen a football game before. But if the game falters then he fades out of it and starts talking about something else. When I heard MNF was moving to ESPN I was hoping Madden wouldn't be the broadcaster any more. Damn it!!

Madden is a blowhard, but he is still FAR preferable to the new MNF analyst...
