Default Favorite Football team?

What is your favorite football team?

Being from New England, I am a die hard Patriots fan. I love the fact that they actually win Superbowls now as I remember watching those 1 win, 15 loss seasons.

I watch the B.C. Eagles a bit as well.

Cool

I am a Dallas Cowblys fan. I like the old school Cowboys as much as the 1990s dynasty (three Super Bowls, w00t!) With a 5-3 Super Bowl record, I really feel good about my team. They may even do well this year...

As for me, I am definitely a die-hard college football fan. But I'll watch the NFL every Sunday as well.

As for the NFL, my favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens. I love defense, and they definitely have that aspect. I also like the Colts and hope they finally get past the Pats this year.

As for college football, my team is Oklahoma State. I have been a fan of O-State for as long as I can remember, and although they aren't great, I still cheer as hard as I can for them.

I also enjoy watching VTech and Oregon.

Lifelong NY Giants fan here. Grew up watching them and later fulfilled a dream with them.

Also always rooted for the Steelers due to growing up during the Steel Curtain days. Lastly, I pull for the Bears as I was always a HUGE Walter Payton fan. The man was pure class.

Ohio State's my favorite team. I've been a diehard Buckeye for many years now. I really enjoy college football, in general, though. I also like Florida, Utah, BG, Toledo and Virginia Tech. I don't really get into pro football much anymore. I guess all the egos and crying that they don't make enough millions, to play football, disgusts me. There's just a lot more spirit and purity at the college level. I used to be a die hard Redskins fan, back in the day of John Riggins, Art Monk, Joe Thiesman, Joe Jacoby, Gary Clark, Darrel Green, Charles Mann, Dave Butz, and Joe Gibbs. I still root for Washington, but nowadays I root more for Pittsburgh. Big Ben and I are from the same home towns...so I root for the hometown guy.

I remember that Skins team I agree with you about the overpayed cry-babies, but at the same time I love watching the NFL. I would probably be more into college if they got rid of the ranking system.

Well, they need to do something about it for sure. I think, they need to go to a playoff system at the end of the year. This is where the rankings would come in. Take the top ten or twelve or even eight teams in the country and enter them into a playoff. Numbers one and two could even be seeded with a first round by, kinda like a bonus for finishing so high. Use the playoff games as the bowl games still. Basketball takes a month or so of tournaments, and all the other NCAA divisions have playoffs except Division I-A. I think that is the only true way to get an undisputed National Champion. Yes, I think it's better than it used to be, but they've got a long way to go yet. Also, I think they shouldn't rank the teams until they are three to five games into the season. That's why Auburn and VA Tech got screwed last year. Utah as well. All three of those teams would've beaten Oklahoma last year...hands down. But, they all started the season either ranked out of the top twenty-five or very low in the top twenty-five. I watched Va Tech and USC play the first game last year, and could not believe Va Tech was not ranked in the top twenty five. But, in spite of all that, I really love college football.

Giants fan here also, "Hey man hows it going?" Also like the Bills, only cause of brain washing from my father over the last 30 years. However, if the Bills and Giants play, I will always root for the Giants.
