granted fielding, that guy did change how the game of football was ultamitely televised, he can hardly be called the greatest player the game has seen.

Fielding thats not the point, its the greatest player to play the game, not the most important or influential

starters will play about the length of a blink of an eye, but it will be nice to see a football game again. especially the EAGLES.

yeah he was drafted like 16th overall, Montana was drafted in the third round and Marino was drafted late first round. It's wierd how the best arn't even drafted that high.

you cannot pick a best player of all time. i mean you can barely pick the best player per position but chosing one player as the best in the sport is rediculous. Ok so lets say you think jerry rice is the best player, but can jerry rice tackle anyone? can he kick a 40 yard field goal? can he outsprint all the running backs? Can he throw a 40 yard pass and hit the reciever in stride?i doubt it. so obciously he isnt the best player of all time, you can say he was an excellent route runner, so he was the best at that. Torry holt has the best hands, so hes the best at that. And so on. This applies to every position.
