Did you happen to catch the Steelers preseason game in Philly on ESPN? It looked like there was about 15-20% Steelers fans there and they were loud. It was only preseason too. Would have been louder if it were a regular season matchup.
BTW Congrats on beating us in the preseason, too bad you can't do that in the regular season when it counts
It's a pre season game boys, It hardly matters. hell we did'nt fill our house. and no you would'nt have been so loud at a regular season game, you'd be doing what my old 8th grade science teacher kept tellin us to do."sit down and shut-up".
How can say accurately say that there was about 15-20%. Their is no way. And if you saw it on TV, how do you know how loud they were . I could be out of touch, but I don't remember them doing a census at any sporting event Ive ever been too. And I don't remember ever hearing about a devise that measure what fans are making the most noise

Therefore, it's purely a personal observation, and I think that saying there was ABOUT a range of 6%, I'd say that's good enough. And sometime watch a game and just go by crowd noise, you hear cheering after a play, and then look and see who did it....that's how you tell which fans were making the noise. Not too hard to figure out if it's a Steeler fan or Eagle fan cheering.

That was my entire point. You're blasting him as if he was stating it as fact, whereas what he did was give a personal observation, or estimate. That's pretty much a guess. He didn't say there WAS definitely 15-20% there. He said it LOOKED like there was ABOUT 15-20%, so as I said before, he's hardly trying to state it as fact.

I have always found estimations like that to be misleading. Its one of those things you can do to heighten your point without basing it in fact. I could say that at a Cowbous/Eagles game in Phili that it looked like their were 20%Cowboy fans, after seeing a few Cowboy jerseys. I could argue that to the Eagles fans and when they say I am full of crap, what do I can I say to argue. I just dont like using glib estimations to prove a point
