Wow, a California team is getting a new stadium? Convenient that it's in the earthquake capital. Really though, the 49ers deserve a stadium since they're playing in the oldest stadium as it is. Even though they're the worst team right now, they still have a lot of history behind them and they'll eventually get better over time.

I agree with you. But sometimes I'd rather play in an old stadium with a lot of history behind it that a new one. Just my opinion though.
poppa, read the article my friend, there is no new stadium, it is renovations.
I got the drift of new stadium from the article myself, but I've been working long hours lately and could be crazy. Either way, at least they're doing something with that place. But a new stadium would be better for the organization IMO.
I thought so too at first, but they won't pony up the money for a new stadium. the same reason that they are going to try and renovate the colusium for a new team, california is in bad shape money wise.
