Everything's not fine

Plus the more teams you have, the more you thin out the talent...
Another thing to consider is that in places like Nebraska or other rural areas, the fans follow college football religiously, and would likely not even care that much about another NFL franchise...
I just think it's uneccesary...

Everything's fine if you happen to have an NFL team in your city. San Antonio, the largest city in the nation without the NFL isn't one of those. So everything's not fine. San Antonio's metro area has grown to well over 2 million people and is still growing, rapidly. Many people around the nation believe that we are fans of the hated cowboys down here. This is simply not the truth. Many fans in San Antonio are from other areas of the country and cannot stand the cowboys. San Antonio, like Orlando would be a natural for NFL football because it is in the heart of football country. Moreover there is a city, Austin, of almost equal size nearby that would add to the market size. I don't know or care about LA getting a team anytime soon. But I believe San Antonio should be on the top of the list of cities getting an expansion team or a relocated one.

LA has had three chances to support a team, and Vancouver is CFL territory. Think Portland or Vegas. That would be great.

Less than half the city is "gambling country". The rest of it is the fastest growing, and one of the most marketable, cities in America. Put the stadium far from the strip, maybe even in Henderson, and you'd sell tickets just fine.

Its like when they talk about putting a NBA team there. They said it wasnt selling tickets they were worried about. Its the gambling atmosphere.

No way Vegas gets an NFL team. Personally I don't want the NFL to expand because then the league gets water down.

There is no way this league can get watered down. There is only 3% of college player that get drafted. Where do the rest of the 97% go? Beyond that I would say that there should be a summer league more so then expansion in the fall season.

New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks... the four corners of the stars and stripes are covered. Expanding on 32 teams is plausible... LA and Mexico City (among others) have been suggested, but I think the league has a pretty good forumla going (equal divisions and such) and, essentially, every fan has a team near them that they can suffer the highs and lows with.
